The ship is designed around a fleet mentality as a battle frigate. The name  Starhammer is actually a class of ships designed to hang to the back of a fleet in a sniper role, protected by either point defense ships or carriers capable of keeping away enemy fighters and larger ships getting too close. The entirety of the ship is dominated by the main cannon, a magnetically accelerated projectile cannon surrounded by a plasma reactor. The reactor ties directly to the cannon and surrounds it, designed to create plasma reactions in a spiral. This helps create a rifling effect as well as a speed boost to any projectile fired from the cannon, greatly extending the effective range. Yet anything that enters the cannon, even without being fired, will be launched when the ship is running, the effect cannot be turned off.
Because the reactor is located to the benefit of the main gun and located close to the engines. All power is diverted to these two tasks. The cannon remains the ships only weapon, and the exposed reactor is easy to destroy from close range. A destroied plasma reactor will 'go nuclear' firing the barrel of the main gun itself before the ship explodes, often boosting the barrel to near projectile speeds. Because of this it is very often you will see a doomed Starhammer pointing at the nearest target in hopes the barrel will manage to land a finishing blow.

A massive ship constructed by a number of players lead by yagi takeru. the ship started out as a massive floating sci-fi platform before being made into "such an epic gun we simply have to build a ship to carry it around".

Design Elements
