I first joined the servers in 2010 for a short time, for around 3 weeks. After this, I forgot completely about Minecraft and got on with life. I have nearly no memory of my short time in the Survival server's Beta days, apart from killing a derp with a Wooden Shovel.

I joined the Creative server in 2013, during the middle of Revision 24. On my first day, I met achamilton and Magnyus, both of whom I forged quick friendships with. Magnyus seemed to be a rather focused person, whereas achamilton gave me a short tour of the server as other players yelled out suggestions in chat. This was initially my return to Minecraft after 3 years, and boy it felt strange. I was incredibly bored at the time and was still getting used to the controls, concepts and basic skills of the game. Eventually I decided to join Survival. The first person I met there was a player by the name of N00ble_6. This player gave a walkthrough of the Survival server and a general cap on things, at some point saying "It's great to have a new player here!". As for PvE, I've spent a hundred hours or so messing around on there but have never played it seriously. I generally stick to Creative and Survival.
