User commands

These commands are available on all servers we run.

Command Purpose Usage Example Notes
/help Displays tips and server commands /help /help
/pl Lists the plugins the server is running, as well as status (Green = enabled, red = disabled) /pl /pl
/version Displays the version of Bukkit the server is using or plugin version /version /version OR /version [plugin name]
/modreq Ask for a moderator's assistance /modreq message /modreq I've been griefed! Stand where the assistance is needed and then do /modreq message. Abuse of this command can result in a warn, kick or ban.
/check Check any modreqs you have made, and see their ID numbers /check /check
/done Close a modreq you have made, using its ID number /done ID /done 2728
/msg Send a private message to a user /msg player_name message /msg AlcoJew Hello. Abuse of this command can result in a warn, kick or ban.
/r Reply to the last private message you've received /r messsage /r Hello.
/mail Send a private message to a user's inbox /mail send player_name message /mail send AlcoJew Hello. Typing /mail in game will show a list of all related commands. Abuse of this command can result in a warn, kick or ban.
/list View names and number of online players, as well as online staff /list /list /list 1 will show the number and name of online players and staff in alphabetic order.
/list-all View names and number of online players, as well as online staff on all server we run. /list-all /list-all There is a 30 second cool down after each use of this commanded before it may be used again.
/modlist Display all online moderators. /modlist /modlist Names in green means the mod is in modmode.
/ping Check your latency to the server. /ping /ping Pong!
/clanchat Allows users to create, send messages to, and manage lists of players on the server. /c #channelname message /c #towerbuild hello Type /clanchat in game for a full list of commands, reproduced here: http://i.imgur.com/qJ26cJn.png. Once you've typed in "/c #channelname" once, it will assume the #channelname as default for all subsequent messages. Note that you must be invited by another player to join their channel (or create your own).
/nextrestart Shows time till next restart /nextrestart /nextrestart
/server Allows users to change between servers from in game. /server [server] /server creative The lobby, Creative, PvE, Survival servers can be accessed with this command.

Command Purpose Usage Example Notes
/i Spawn items for building /i item_ID or name /i torch Please be aware that there are several restricted items
/skull Spawns a player's head in your inventory. /skull player /skull AlcoJew This command is case sensitive.
/warp Allows users to warp to pre-determined locations /warp warpname /warp 8bit Typing /warp will list all available /warp locations.
/sethome Allows users to make personal warps /sethome [name] [public,private] /sethome train Omit name to set default home. Homes are unlisted by default, except for the default home, which is private. Add public modifier at end to show home on homes list when another player queries your homes. Add private modifier at end to ensure that only you can access the home. Home names may not contain spaces. Infinite homes can be set on Creative.
/delhome Allows users to delete personal warps /delhome name /delhome train Deleted homes cannot be recovered.
/home Allows users to teleport to their personal warps /home [playername] [name] /home train Issue the command by itself to go to the default home. Add a home name to go to the named home. Named homes must be set with /sethome. Add player name between the command and the home name to access another player's public or unlisted home. You cannot access another player's private home. Player names and home names are case sensitive. Infinite homes can be set on Creative.
/listhomes List homes set by player /listhomes [playername] /listhomes Issue command to see a complete list of your own homes. Add a player name (case sensitive) to see that player's public homes.
/spawn Teleports a user back to the spawn point /spawn /spawn
/region Adds, removes or displays information about a region /region info region_name, /region [addmember, removemember] region_name player_name /region addmember AlcoJew_house buttscicles Only owners can add and remove members from a region.
/mode Toggles a player's game mode between survival and creative modes. /mode player_name /mode AlcoJew
/enchant Allows users to enchant items such as tools, armor and books. /enchant enchantment_name level /enchant efficiency 5 Item must be selected in your hotbar before applying the command. Repeat /enchant as many times as you need to stack different enchantments to the same item.
/dynmap Allows users to be hidden or show up on the live map. /dynmap show,hide /dynmap show Users are hidden by default.

Creative Teleport Commands

Command Purpose Usage Example Notes
/tp Allows users to teleport to other users /tp player_name /tp AlcoJew Typing /tp alcoj will auto-complete to alcojew etc
/tpmode allow Allows players to teleport to you /tpmode modename /tpmode allow This mode set by default the first time you join the server. Typing just /tpmode will display your current tpmode, i.e. Allow/Ask/Deny.
/tpmode ask Notifies you for each player that wishes to teleport to you. /tpmode modename /tpmode ask Use /tpallow and /tpdeny when prompted for each player that wishes to teleport to you.
/tpmode deny Prevents players from teleporting to you /tpmode modename /tpmode deny Will deny any player from being able to teleport to you.
/tpfriend Adds a player to your tpfriend list /tpfriend playername /tpfriend AlcoJew When you are in ask mode: tpfriends will be able to teleport to you without asking. When you are in deny mode: A prompt will pop up for tpfriends as if you were in ask mode.
/tpunfriend Removes a player from your tpfriend list /tpunfriend playername /tpunfriend AlcoJew
/tpblock Adds a player to your tpblock list /tpblock playername /tpblock AlcoJew When you are in allow mode: A prompt will pop up for players on your tpblock list as if you were in ask mode. When you are in ask mode: players on your tpblock list will not be able to teleport to you.
/tpunblock Removes a player from your tpblock list /tpunblock playername /tpunblock AlcoJew
/back Teleports a player to their last location /back /back

Survival

Command Purpose Usage Example Notes
/lwc Allows users to protect chests or furnaces to an individual or a number of people /lwc [public, private] /lwc private Typing /lwc in game will show a list of all related commands. Abuse of this command can result in a warn, kick or ban
/unenchant Allows users to unenchant an item /unenchant /unenchant The item should be selected in your hotbar first.
/ccorral Allows users to lock horses /corral /corral Typing /ccorral (two c's & two r's) in game will show a list of all related commands.
/bed-clear Allows users to reset their spawn without destroying their bed /bed-clear /bed-clear
/spawnme Allows users to teleport to arena only if there is an arena event /spawnme /spawnme Abuse of this command to avoid pvp combat can result in a warn, kick or ban.
/leavearena Allows users to teleport out of arena back to spawn /leavearena /leavearena Abuse of this command to avoid pvp combat can result in a warn, kick or ban.

PvE

/place Shows users to distance and direction to pre-determined locations /place placename /place spawn Typing /place will list all available places.
/nearest-place Shows the name, location, and distance to the nearest location on the /place list of locations, and points you towards it /nearest-place /nearest-place
/petowner Shows the owner of a pet in the players crosshairs. /petowner /petowner Aim your crosshairs at the block where the pet is sitting (or very close) and type /petowner
/dynmap show Allows users to show up on the live map /dynmap show, /dynmap hide /dynmap show Users are hidden by default.
