Leaders

Ironstar is lead by Wozdaka and Halinah

Pre-Minecraft History

Wozdaka and Halinah have been gaming online together for over 2 decades. They first meet playing MUDs. They used the named "Ironstar" as a lastname in charater creation or development. The name Ironstar comes from AD&D 2nd Edition in the Forgetten Realms. Ironstar was a settlement/Clan of Dwarves. Wozdaka played a Dwarf Paladin once and was from this settlement and continues to use the name in gaming.

Rev 14 PvE

Ironstar's first settlement was the last weeks of Rev 14. A very simple house was made on a lake. As both leaders were very new to the game it was not impressive, well known or much of anything other than your typical beginners house. A tunnel was made to go below a lake to tie into a road was probably the most impressive feature of the build.

Rev 15 PvE

During Rev15 Ironstar members joined up with the city of Yowie. Yowie settled in the North East between a Jungle, Swamp and a massive Ocean. To be able to build freely but without hurting the Yowie build Ironstar built east in the swamps. Massive amounts of roads and farms were created. Yowie called them the "Swamp People" due to the fact they had built in a swamp. The main sorter room built for this was called "Costco" due to its nature of being stocked very well and always in bulk. It was called "Swamp Costco" and began a naming scheme of calling the storage/sorter room after a the biome it is in.

Ironstar's donation to Yowie in Rev 15 was vast. Villager Trading, Auto Farms, Wither/Nether Farm in the nether. Roads. The eastern swamp road grew as friends of Ironstar played with building homes, outposts and a hanging garden. The south/west ocean tunnels from Yowie to other parts of the map was created by Ironstar members.

Wozdaka built "Ghastbusters" a mock up of the firehouse from Ghostbusters and won an award for most unique build.

Rev 28 Survival

During Rev 15 of PvE Ironstar played on Survival. It was the first time the named "Ironstar" was used in a settlement. Way east of spawn away from all the danger in the a swamp Ironstar was created. An outpost was created on the western/eastern road as well. The Survival server was a low population server so it let Ironstar practice building various grinders/builds. Although it had the extra challenge of building on a server with threat of being ganked by PvPers.

A guardian grinder was built but the design had flaws and low output. Wozdaka built a 2nd "end xp" grinder that was not popular at first but the design was built with safety in travelling too and using the grinder to be able to enchant with safety from being ganked by using a "Safe Room" to enchant items and store them in an ender chest. By the end of Rev 28 Survival Ironstar had developed better skills in minecraft and started their reputation of doing utility builds with grinders and so on. One of the 4 creeper spawners was found and developed into a grinder by Ironstar. This created a way to build mass amounts of TnT which was used at the end of the rev.

The attempt to build an iron grinder failed as the villagers for the grinder were killed off. Seeking revenge Ironstar hunted down and killed all but 4 villagers on the map. These 4 were transported in secret to the Creeper grinder in the unexplored corner of the world where a second attempt at making an iron grinder was started but ended as the revision came to an end.

Rev 29 Survival

Ironstar was strong in this revision. They found the end portals and defeat the Enderdragon. Due to the nature of villagers being different the process of this took 24 hours. Enderpearls had to be hunted down from endermen and eyes of enders were created. Once the dragon was killed the end xp grinder was built within 6 hours. This had a huge impact on the map as allies of Ironstar got early enchants on armor and gear to help dominate the server. Ironstar had a large base over the north end portal but had a secret base over the south end portal. Another secret base was created in a mesa at the border of the map near the only water temple which was turned into the only guardian grinder. The Guardian Grinder was very good and was a test bed for the Ironstar design of guardian grinding.

Rev 16 PvE

Ironstar settled in the SE stone beach biomes near the Virgo portal controlled by Yowie. Ironstar was a unique city built with utility. They had 2 Iron Grinders, a Guardian Grinder, a villager trading center with all enchants/tools you wanted. They also built a wither/nether farm by the Virgo portal. Ironstar found the east End Portal.

Located off the WHEAT rail line Ironstar became a popular visiting place by the server early in Rev 16 for iron, prismarine and villager trading. Ironstar's size was relatively small as it had to deal with lots of mountains/oceans around its main location. Below Ironstar "Moria" was dug out a massive 200x200x30 area. Unfortunately at the end of Rev16 due to distractions and a month long illness of Wozdaka, many of the builds did not get finished or started in Ironstar.

Ironstar ultimately made a name for itself in the quality of support they offered.

Rev 29 Creative

Ironstar built a mountain fortress also known as the "Woz Shop". Underground a massive area was cleared which Wozdaka uses to test builds for Ironstar's PvE builds.

Rev 17 PvE

Ironstar early joined with Yowie again as they did with Rev 15. In the first week of Rev 17 they had the first level 16 iron grinder on the server. They had the first villager trading center with all enchants at max level completed. The East End portal was abandoned by the first owner and so Ironstar took it up and built Ironstar on top of it. Ironstar decided to pass on building a guardian grinder this revision. Wozdaka figured out how to build a skyplatform in the nether to farm it from his experience playing on Survival which used a similar custom nether that was being used for this rev. Ironstar donated early to various rail projects and the end build to help out. Ironstar is allied with the North East Alliance representing them in the South East as an outpost of the NEA.
